Floors Castle welcomes you to the largest inhabited castle in Scotland, which is the family home of the 11th Duke of Roxburgh. The castle was built in 1721 for the 1st Duke of Roxburgh the building and gardens show the impressions left by succeeding generations to the present day. Floors Castle welcomes visitors to enjoy the castle and surroundings which contain Victorian walled gardens, Glasshouses, Herbacious Borders, Millenial Gardens, Cycle trails and woodland or riverside walks. There is plenty on offer for families to discover and explore during a visit. There is also a Courtyard or Terrace Cafe and an Apple shed Gift shop and Deli where you can purchase some of the best homemade Scottish produce on offer. The castle is open 7 days a week from May to September 10.30am - 5pm. Dogs are also welcome on a lead.
