A6091 Galafoot bridge additional evening closures:
We have been informed that there will be additional evening full bridge closures that will affect evening journeys on services 67 and 68.
The following dates for evening services will result in services 67 and 68 diverting from Tweedbank Roundabout via Tweedbank bypass A6091, Lowood Bridge and Langlee omitting normal bus stops between Kingsknowe roundabout and Galashiels Interchange.
Sunday 4th October, Sunday 15th and 29th November

Service 67 departing Tweedbank at 2048 to Galashiels
Saturday 24th October and Saturday 14th November
Service 68 departing Tweedbank at 1933, 2033 and 2113 for Galashiels

Galafoot bridge closure:

We would like to inform our customers that we have been informed that Galafoot Bridge will be closed eastbound to allow major deck refurbishment works to take place. The closure will begin at 06:00 on Monday 5 October and will remain in place until the works are completed.
Services 67 and 68: From Kingsknowe Roundabout, services will operate via the A7 and B6360 Abbotsford to Tweedbank Roundabout, where they will rejoin their normal route.
Service 314: From Galashiels Fire Station, this service will operate via Tweed Road, Winston Road, B6374 Lowood Bridge and Tweedbank Bypass, rejoining its normal route at Tweedbank Roundabout.
Minor timetable adjustments will be made to allow for the additional journey time between Kingsknowe and Tweedbank.
Services operating from Tweedbank towards Galashiels are not affected by this closure.
Incorrect Timetable Display 67, 68, 314.
Please can passengers intending to use our 67, 68 or 314 services refer to our PDF timetables for timetable information until further notice.
Due to a technical glitch, our journey planning system and live timetable is currently displaying incorrect times for these services.

There are significant delays on the B1 because of roadworks.
Lowther Street, Carlisle Bus Stand Closures.

Lowther Street, Carlisle Bus Stand Closures.
We have been advised that the bus stands on Lowther Street, Carlisle will be closed from Tuesday 1st of September 2026 to allow essential street refurbishment works to be carried out.
As a result, Service X95 will temporarily relocate from Stand K (Club Britannia) to Stand J (Howards Arms), located further north along Lowther Street.
The local authority anticipates that these works will remain in place until January 2027.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Bus Stop Improvement Works.
Preparation works for new real-time information screens will begin at a number of bus stops across the Scottish Borders.
During these works, some bus stops may temporarily be without their usual bus stop pole or flag. These stops will remain in use and buses will continue to serve them as normal unless specifically advised otherwise.
