We would like to inform customers that services within the Galashiels area will be subject to delays and diversions between 08:00 and 20:30 due to road closures for the Braw Lads Gathering.
Between 08:00 and 09:00, Braw Lads Brae to Kingsknowe Roundabout will be closed. Services 67, 68, 73 and X95 departing the Transport Interchange will operate via Paton Street, Currie Road, Melrose Road, Langlee, Lowood Bridge and the A6091 Tweedbank Bypass before re-joining their normal routes. Services arriving at the Transport Interchange will follow this diversion in reverse.
Between 11:45 and 12:45, Market Street and Bank Street will be closed. Services 51, 60, 67, 68, 70, 73 and X95 (Hawick) departing the Transport Interchange will operate via Stirling Street, Stirling Place, Ladhope Vale and Currie Road before re-joining their normal routes. Market Street bus stop will not be served.
During this same period, services towards Edinburgh and Peebles will also be affected. Service X62 will operate via Stirling Street, Stirling Place, Ladhope Vale, Bridge Place and Island Street. Service X95 towards Stow and Edinburgh will operate via Stirling Street, Stirling Place and Ladhope Vale before re-joining at High Buckholmeside. Bank Street and Iceland bus stops will not be served.
Between 12:45 and 20:30, Bank Street will remain closed. Services X62 and X95 towards Edinburgh departing the Transport Interchange will operate via Stirling Street, Stirling Place, Ladhope Vale, Bridge Place and Bridge Street, re-joining their normal routes at Iceland. Bank Street bus stop will not be served.

Service Disruption – North Bridge, Edinburgh (Evenings Only)
The North Bridge, Edinburgh will be closed each evening between 22:00 and 06:00 from Saturday 14th March until Wednesday 22 July 2026 to allow contractors to dismantle scaffolding from the underside of the bridge.
This closure affects only the final journey of the day on Service X62 from Edinburgh Bus Station.
Journeys Affected
Monday–Saturday: 22:10 departure from Edinburgh Bus Station
Sunday: 21:50 departure from Edinburgh Bus Station
Diversion Route for These Last Journeys Only
The affected X62 departures will operate the following diversion:
Edinburgh Bus Station
York Place
Queen Street
Hanover Street
The Mound
North Bank Street
Bank Street
George IV Bridge
Chambers Street
The bus will then rejoin the normal route at South Bridge.
The South Bridge stop will not be served during this closure.
Customers should use the Chambers Street bus stop instead.
Only the last X62 journey of the day is impacted.
All other services will operate as normal.
