Viewing the timetable for service 51

Galashiels Town Centre - Pride

12th - 30th Aug 2026

Please be aware that we have been informed that a number of roads in Galashiels town centre will be closed on Saturday 29th August to allow the Scottish Borders Pride event to take place.

As a result, all services departing Galashiels Interchange between 11:30 and 13:00 will operate on diversion during these times.

Services 51, 60, 67, 68, 70, 73 and X95 (southbound) will turn right and operate via Stirling Street, Stirling Place, Ladhope Vale and Currie Road before rejoining their normal route.

Services X62 and X95 (northbound) will turn right and operate via Stirling Street, Stirling Place, Ladhope Vale, Bridge Place and Bridge Street before rejoining their normal route from the Iceland bus stop.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience during these temporary road closures. Please allow extra time for your journey.

Bus Stop Improvement Works.

31st Jul 2026 onwards

Preparation works for new real-time information screens will begin at a number of bus stops across the Scottish Borders.

During these works, some bus stops may temporarily be without their usual bus stop pole or flag. These stops will remain in use and buses will continue to serve them as normal unless specifically advised otherwise.

9th Aug 2026 onwards

Due to severe congestion in Edinburgh city centre, X95, X62 and 51 services are experiencing significant delays, and some journeys may be cancelled.

Please allow extra time for travel and check for updates before you travel.
