Our safety measures
From Monday 18 April the legal requirement to wear face coverings on public transport will become guidance.
The Scottish Government are still however strongly recommending face coverings should still be worn whilst travelling on public transport and that each of us continue to take sensible precautions to reduce the spread of Covid 19.
We would ask customers to follow this guidance and – if not exempt - to continue to wear face coverings whilst travelling on our buses. We would also ask that you be respectful of customers’ reason(s) to wear or not wear face coverings.
The guidance also remains for ventilation on bus, where possible we will keep windows open. Our driver protective screens will also remain alongside free hand sanitiser.
In light of some of us feeling anxious about the changes in Covid 19 measures an initiative has launched across the UK to encourage people to respect the space of others when they’re out and about. For all info visit Distance Awareness Scheme.
