We're introducing more buses and more choice for Berwick and Northumberland
Today
We're making it easier to travel around Berwick and across North Northumberland this summer with the introduction of a brand-new town service and improvements to one of our most popular coastal routes.
Working on behalf of Northumberland County Council, we're introducing the new B2 Berwick town service and enhancing our 918 coastal service, giving local people and visitors more buses, better connections and greater choice.
Whether you're travelling to work, school, the shops, the beach or heading out for a day exploring Northumberland, our improved network makes it easier to leave the car behind.
Our enhanced network includes:
B1 – Linking Ramparts Business Park, Loaning Meadows Retail Park, Seaview, Golden Square, Spittal and Highcliffe.
New B2 – A brand new Berwick town service linking Loaning Meadows Retail Park, Berwick Holiday Park, Hide Hill, Bridge Street, West End Place, Tesco and Prior Park.
418 – Connecting Wooler, Belford, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell, Craster and Alnwick.
Improved 918 – Now providing extended journeys between Berwick-upon-Tweed, Belford, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell and Chathill Railway Station, with improved rail connections at Chathill.
Together, these improvements provide better access to jobs, education, healthcare, shopping and some of Northumberland's most popular visitor destinations, while making it even easier to travel sustainably.
