We would like to inform our customers that the Pingo Berwickshire pilot will come to an end on Sunday 19 May 2024.
From Monday 20 May, Pingo will be replaced by a new taxi bus operated by Teviot Taxis on behalf of Scottish Borders Council. The service will run seven days a week and cover rural areas of the locality. For full update please visit Scottish Borders Council’s website.
In addition to the new taxi bus, Borders Buses on behalf of Scottish Borders Council offers connections between Duns and Berwick with its service 32.
Scottish Borders Council plan to introduce a new service 34 route, which will connect Duns and Coldstream, more details coming soon from Scottish Borders Council about this service.
Over the coming week, we will shut down our Pingo communications channels. This includes:
- Pingo phoneline – our Pingo phoneline will be switched off from Monday 20 May at 1600.
- Pingo Facebook group – we will close this page down Friday 24 May 2024.
- Pingo webpage - our Pingo webpage will be switched off from Friday 24 May at 1600.
We thank all those living and working in the Pingo network for their custom over the past two years.
