  • The service 51 has disruptions

    Galashiels to Edinburgh, Via BGH, Newtown St Boswells, Earlston, Lauder, Pathhead

      Service Update – Lauder Common Riding 2026.

      We would like to inform customers that Service 51 will be subject to minor delays and diversions during the Lauder Common Riding. Please see below for details of the journeys affected.

      On Wednesday 29 July, the 18:46 service from Galashiels to Lauder will terminate at Thirlestane Drive. The 19:34 service from Lauder to Galashiels will commence from Thirlestane Drive.
      On the same day, the 17:35 and 19:05 departures from Edinburgh, which are scheduled to arrive at Lauder at 19:04 and 20:34, will divert from the A68 at Carfraemill via the A697 and B6362, omitting Lauder.

      On Saturday 1 August, the 07:18 and 10:18 departures from Galashiels, scheduled to arrive at Lauder at 08:11 and 11:11, will divert via the A68, B6362 and A697, omitting Lauder.
      The 07:20 departure from Galashiels will operate to Thirlestane Drive, where it will terminate. The 08:04 departure from Lauder Cross will commence from Thirlestane Drive.
      The 10:05 and 17:35 departures from Edinburgh, scheduled to arrive at Lauder at 11:34 and 19:04, will divert from the A68 at Carfraemill via the A697 and B6362, omitting Lauder.
      All other journeys not mentioned will operate their normal route.

    • Service 51 disruption/diversion Edgehead and Whitehill.

      6th Jul 2026 onwards

      Service 51 disruption/diversion - Edgehead and Whitehill

      We have been informed that major resurfacing works will be carried out on Friday 10th July at Edgehead that will result in the C34 Whitehill road being closed between 0900 and 1630.

      This will result in service 51 operating normal route before and after the closure.

      During the closure, service 51 will operate from Ford right onto the B6372 to re-join the A68 then left onto the A6106 for Dalkeith omitting Edgehead and Whitehill villages between 0900-1630.

  • The service 67 has disruptions

    Galashiels to Berwick-Upon-Tweed

    • Service 67 Disruption – Kelso Laddies Festival

      Service 67 Disruption – Kelso Laddies Festival
      Due to the Kelso Laddies Festival, road closures in Kelso town centre will affect Service 67 on Wednesday 15th July and Saturday 18th July.

      From Kelso to Galashiels, the 18:17, 19:17 and 20:17 departures will operate from Coledale bus stop and divert via East Bowmont Street, Edenside Road, A6089 and Inch Road before rejoining the normal route.

      Woodmarket bus stop will not be served.

      From Kelso to Berwick, the 18:15 departure will operate from Coledale bus stop and divert via Rose Lane and A699 Shedden Park Road before continuing on the normal route.
      Woodmarket bus stop will not be served.


      On Saturday 19th July during the daytime, Service 67 may also experience delays due to the Yetholm Rideout.

  • The service 68 has disruptions

    Galashiels to Jedburgh

      Jedburgh Callants Festival 2026

      We would like to inform all customers that disruption to Service 68 will be experienced at certain times in the lead-up to this year’s festival.

      Wednesday 8th ofJuly:
      All Service 68 journeys between 18:00 and 21:00 will omit Ancrum village in both directions.

      Friday 10th of July:
      The last journey to depart Jedburgh Bus Station before the road closures will be at 07:49.
      All journeys between 08:49 and 12:49 will arrive at and depart from Jedburgh Woollen Mill.
      From 13:49 onwards, all journeys will operate as normal from Jedburgh Bus Station.
